Hey, I’m Dave — a photographer and videographer with a passion for capturing authentic moments and creative stories.
My journey started back in 2017, when I began making amateur basketball videos on YouTube. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a full-blown love for visuals, storytelling, and creativity.
By 2021, I stepped into the professional world, shooting portraits, products, and events while continuing to explore my love for video. Whether I’m behind the camera or editing the final frame, I aim to bring energy, connection, and purpose into every project. I’m happiest when I’m traveling, meeting new people, and creating something that makes others feel inspired.
I believe that imagery is about having fun and creating something timeless for myself and others.
How it all started. How its going.
I started getting into media when I was 21 years old. I launched a small marketing company but quickly realized I didn’t yet have the skills or knowledge to make it succeed. After closing the business, I dove into videography. At 25, I started a basketball YouTube channel with a couple of friends (which is doing quite well now) to sharpen my video shooting and editing skills. Eventually, I left the channel after realizing that basketball wasn’t my true passion.
I still believed I was in the right arena — just not playing the right game. So I shifted into professional photography while keeping my passion for video alive. Today, I shoot portraits, sporting events, live events, and pets. I also own a product and headshot company, Purple Plant Media LLC. Every step I’ve taken has led me here, and I’m truly grateful for the journey.
